AS & A Level Results Day 2020

Congratulations to all of our students receiving their A Level, Vocational and AS results this morning. You have worked so hard during difficult times and should be proud of your efforts. We are delighted, despite well publicised issues with the grading system, that nearly all of our Year 13 students will be able to go to the university or career pathway of their choice. Update 10th May 2020

Dear Parents/Carers

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement at 7pm this evening, we would like to clarify how this affects your child.

From tomorrow, there are no changes to the pupils who can attend school – these are the children of critical workers (as outlined in government documentation which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision). We also provide care for vulnerable pupils who staff at school have already been in contact with from the start of the partial closure...

Timetable for Christ The King & St. Cuthbert's Catholic Academies Appeals 2020

On the 16th April 2020, Blackpool & Lancashire Local Authorities will inform parents of the primary school their child has been allocated to. Not all parents will necessarily receive their first choice of school. For September 2020, the full allocation of 30 pupil places has been made at Christ the King Catholic Academy. If your child has not been allocated a place at Christ the King and you would like to try to secure a place for them please follow the process below. We would strongly advise you not to reject the place at the school your child has been allocated until you hear the outcome of the appeals process...
