The consultation will run from Monday 2nd October 2023 until 3pm on Friday 3rd November 2023. To submit any comments, please use the email address provided by the individual school for this purpose.

Following a public consultation, The governors of Holy Family Catholic Primary School, Blackpool and St. William’s Catholic Primary School, Pilling have resolved to apply to become an academy and join BEBCMAT.

Outcome of consultations on the proposals to become an academy and join the Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic Multi Academy Trust on 1st April 2024
Consultation on the proposals closed on Friday 3rd December 2021, 3pm and the Governing Bodies of the wave one schools met to discuss the feedback received from all stakeholders as part of the consultation process.
After careful consideration, all of the Governing Bodies have taken the decision to proceed with applications to the Department for Education for the schools to become academies and join the Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic Multi Academy Trust on 1st September 2022.
If the applications to the Department of Education are successful then the next steps will be to complete the legal work to complete the process; this work will take place in the Spring term and be completed in time for 1st September 2022.
The Governing Bodies would like to thank everyone that made the time and effort to respond to the proposals.
