Governance Arrangements

The members of the Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic Multi Academy Trust, appointed on the 2nd July 2015, are:

1. The Diocesan Bishop
2. Lancaster Roman Catholic Diocesan Trust
3. The Episcopal Vicar for Education and Formation

The members are responsible for the appointment of foundation directors, ensuring the Trust acts in accordance with its objectives and require the directors to call an Annual General Meeting.

The Board of Directors is listed on the website (click here to view Directors) and their remit and that of its committees forms part of the Financial Regulations which can be found below.

The Standing Committees for the Trust are:

• Audit and Risk
• Quality of Education Committee
• Finance Staffing and Premises
• Pay

The Trust has fifteen local governing bodies (LGBs) and one joint LGB for Christ the King and St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Academies. The Scheme of Delegation which outlines the responsibilities of governors and directors is available below.
