"Peace be with all of you!" - the first words of Pope Leo XIV.

We are delighted to celebrate the election of Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost as the 267th Pope, now known as Pope Leo XIV. The Cardinals, gathered in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, have chosen a leader whose commitment to faith and service is well-known and deeply respected.

Pope Leo XIV has a rich history of service within the Church. Notably, he served as the Superior General of the Augustinian Order, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to the principles of the Order. His experience and wisdom have been a guiding light for many within the Catholic community.

In addition to his global contributions, Pope Leo XIV has a special connection to our local community. He visited Lancaster for the episcopal ordination of Bishop Michael Campbell OSA, an event that remains a cherished memory for many. His presence and support during this significant occasion underscored his commitment to nurturing and uplifting the Church at all levels.

As we welcome Pope Leo XIV, we are filled with hope and anticipation for the future. His message of peace and unity resonates deeply with our values and mission. We look forward to his guidance and leadership as we continue to grow in faith and service.
